Telegram Proxy on Mac

There are two apps on a Mac: Telegram (native, from the App Store) and Telegram Desktop. The “Connect” link works in both.

Option 1. One click

1. Start Telegram.
2. Tap “Connect proxy” above and allow the browser to open the link in Telegram.
3. Confirm Connect Proxy — a shield icon appears above your chat list.

Option 2. Manually (Telegram for macOS)

1. Open Settings → Data and Storage → Proxy (in recent builds “Proxy” may sit directly in Settings).
2. Click Add Proxy and choose MTProto.
3. Fill in Server, Port and Secret from the table below and save.

If it does not connect

• Pick another server or open tg-proxies.com/go.
